You want to know that if they can't help, then they know someone who can

You want the reassurance that they are registered with and regulated by a professional association that imposes high standards of both care and conduct

You may also want to know that they are fully insured to do the work that they do

You want a practitioner who is a member of the FHIT and has the letters FHIT; MFHIT or AFHIT after their name
