| The Crown Healing Course is run under the auspices of The Crown Institute and approved by the FHIT (BCMA registered). It is a comprehensive and substantial course, aimed at helping people understand the holistic nature of vibrational medicine and healing. Crown healing uses these natural energies. Students will gain a deep insight into this energy and be able to use it. They will also have an understanding of Anatomy & Physiology, and an overview of Psychology and Psychotherapy. They will receive a thorough and enjoyable training for this qualification. It can also be taken for interest and personal development. The course tutor, Barbara Hendy initially trained in nursing and child care before taking a degree in Health Studies. She also has qualifications in Hypnotherapy, Counselling & Psychotherapy, and has continued to improve her knowledge of many other disciplines over the years. She was the only clinical therapist invited to participate in a support group for doctors which ran for three years at Liverpool University. She also practices Spiritual Healing and Reiki, having pursued an interest in spiritual philosophy and development for decades. She has worked in both private practice and the NHS, spending the last twelve years before ‘retirement’ as the ‘in house’ therapist and counsellor in a GP surgery. Although she still sometimes sees clients, her main impetus now is to pass on a lifetime of experience and knowledge. She was nominated for the Fellowship of the RSA a few years ago and enjoys regular trips to London to hear some very eminent speakers - when her family commitments allow! |
